I have worked for British Gas for almost 41 years and for the last ten have been a Regional Technical Manager. In this role my specific responsibilities covered quality control and identification of engineers who fell below standard in any of their work. To achieve this I managed a team carrying out Quality Control assessments. I have also carried out investigations into gas related carbon monoxide incidents, fires and explosions, which have occurred in his area and where necessary have attended court to support any legal action taken by the enforcing authorities. I have run incident investigation training courses for both British Gas personnel and external organisations and have training and assessment qualifications.
I am very experienced in central heating design and all aspects of domestic, commercial and industrial gas appliance installation and operation. I am a qualified incident investigator and expert witness and have all the ACS qualifications to support this role.
I have worked closely with all the key players in the gas industry in support of safety and awareness of the dangers of CO.
